Magic Statistics

Is fraud now a “human right” in Canada?

Richard Warman has recently gained notoriety as Canada’s most compulsive whinger and most easily offended citizen.  He has filed 26 complaints with his former employer, the Canadian Human Rights Commission, and received considerable, if unsavoury, income from the judgments in his favour.  (That would be all 26.)

How the mighty have fallen.  His run of jackpots at the human rights casino has ended and, if there’s any justice in this country, his former employer will go down with him.  Mr Warman has reportedly been exposed as the individual who posted vile racist and sexist invective at an internet discussion board that subsequently resulted in a human rights complaint lodged by Mr Warman.  If that isn’t a racket, I don’t know what is.

Mark Steyn lays out the scandals.

[T]his isn't entrapment; it's manufacturing the crime. Mr Warman posted these words on a website and then used them as part of his complaint to the Canadian Human Rights Commission. That is Scandal #1.

Furthermore, when the defendant then made plain that he wished to subpoena the records of the ISP to uncover the author of the above post, the Canadian Human Rights Commission mysteriously dropped it from the case. This suggests an explicit collusion between the CHRC investigators and their former colleague, Mr Warman. That is Scandal #2.

For posting these words on the website and then taking said website to the Human Rights Commission, Mr Warman has been substantially enriched by the Canadian state. That is Scandal #3.

If collusion between Richard Warman and his former employers did indeed occur, then didn’t the CHRC engage in conspiracy to defraud?   Did CHRC functionaries grant him preferential treatment in any other cases?  That could be getting close to racketeering.

It would appear that, at the very least, Warman himself is exposed as a con artist.  If the CHRC hasn’t been able to figure that out yet, it’s just another "see no evil" bureaucracy.

It’s time for our Department of Justice to convene a judicial inquiry into the fraud-enabling CHRC.  As soon as I finish this post, I’m writing a letter to Justice Minister The Hon Robert Nicholson  to suggest exactly that.  His e-mail address is: Nicholson.R@parl.gc.ca

Richard Warman’s contemptible remarks were directed against Senator Anne Cools, a Trudeau-appointed Liberal.  She would certainly want to know that Mr Warman (an attorney, by the by) is bad-mouthing her online.  Her e-mail address is: coolsa@sen.parl.gc.ca

Septuagesima

The collect for today, Septuagesima, or the Third Sunday Before Lent, from the 1662 Book of Common Prayer:

O Lord, we beseech thee favourably to hear the prayers of thy people; that we, who are justly punished for our offences, may be mercifully delivered by thy goodness, for the glory of thy Name; through Jesus Christ our Saviour, who liveth and reigneth with thee and the Holy Ghost, ever one God, world without end. Amen.

The Epistle: 1 Corinthians 9:24-27
The Gospel: St Matthew 20:1-16
