The collect for today, the Feast of Saint Andrew, Apostle and Martyr, from the 1662 Book of Common Prayer:
Almighty God, who didst give such grace unto thy holy Apostle Saint Andrew, that he readily obeyed the calling of thy Son Jesus Christ, and followed him without delay; Grant unto us all, that we, being called by thy holy Word, may forthwith give up ourselves obediently to fulfil thy holy commandments; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
The Epistle: Romans 10:9-21
The Gospel: St Matthew 4:18-22

alan, Kosher haggis sounds great! Feel free to share more from that liturgy.
Thanks, John K. It’s been a rough week—at work and especially in the Anglican Church. I must admit the latter has got me down, but I know I should take that as a reminder to trust the Lord.
I know. I have been somewhat removed from the situation in the ACC, except on the internet, but I will be at St Paul’s this weekend and am looking forward, not only to seeing old friends, but to gauge feelings there.
