GLBT person: I’m gay.
Anglican Essentials (AE) person: Yes, I know.
GLBT person: You’re not listening to me.
AE person: I heard you.
GLBT person: God made me this way.
AE person: No He didn’t.
GLBT person: You’re not listening to me.
AE person: I’ve heard you.
GLBT person: The suffering I endure and the discrimination against me are just the same as it was for African Canadian/American people.
AE person: No it isn’t.
GLBT person: You’re not listening to me.
AE person: I heard what you said.
GLBT person: I have the right to be ordained to the priesthood and be consecrated a bishop because I’m baptized.
AE person: No one has the right to be ordained. Only those whom God calls may be ordained.
GLBT person: You’re not listening to me.

For modern day so called Anglican progressives, dialogue means “lets continue to talk until you agree with me”. Class dismissed.

Is it not time for the orthodox amoung us to be called the authentically progressive, for I think we’ve arrived at the point were to be orthodox IS to be progressive!
