New York Times sees Harper landslide

Based on Liberal Party propaganda, one might assume that the anti-Bush New York Times would be opposed to a Conservative victory in the Canadian election, but this article is, on the whole, quite even-handed. Based on current polls, however, that landslide victory thing is a bit premature.

God bless all of you, God bless Canada! is the way Stephen Harper finishes every campaign stump speech as he appears to be heading toward a landslide victory to become prime minister.

Optimists can hope the Times is prescient, for once.
