For those in big cities Outside (i.e., south of 60°N latitude), this is probably not big news, but here it makes the news for days on end.
The bust took place on Thursday afternoon, and it's still the lead item on this morning's local radio news. The bust occurred in Copper Ridge, the Whitehorse neighbourhood I live in. It couldn't have been on my street, however, because neither I nor the StatWife noticed any police dogs around or police cars en masse poised for arrests.
A lot of pot was seized, so we're glad the RCMP is on the case.
